This workshop will offer an overview of the Community Media Archive and related developments to support storage and distribution for community access media for current and future generations.

Over the past year, the Community Media Archive (http://www.archive.org/details/community_media), hosted by the Internet Archive, has grown to more than 2,500 videos.

Topics covered in this workshop will include:

- how to work effectively with the Internet Archive to get your PEG station or CMC set up on the Community Media Archive
- recent proof-of-concept work by Access Humboldt that allows you to search video on the Internet Archive by runtime and video quality
- how to use the Internet Archive as a source of creative commons licensed broadcast quality video for your PEG channels
- changes the Internet Archive has made in response to our feedback
- how archive.org RSS feeds can used in Boxee, Tivo and Miro to extend the reach of today's Community Media Center from cable TV to the internet.
